Our Sunday service includes singing of hymns and a solo, silent prayer and the Lord's Prayer, and readings from the
Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The selections from Science and Health are chosen to help interpret and explain the Bible citations. Two members of the church are selected to read and conduct the services. The Bible Lesson-Sermon found in the Christian Science Quarterly is the basis for the service. The subject of this week's lesson and selections from the readings are made available online. Click the button below for more information. |

Wednesday Evening Meeting
1st and 3rd Wednesday 6:00 p.m. The Wednesday evening meeting is a time of inspiration and uplift. The service includes singing and reading from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the Christian Science textbook. Topics are chosen to relate to community, family and business concerns, or other timely issues. A time is set aside at this meeting for the sharing of testimonies of healing and remarks on Christian Science. All are invited to attend.
It’s common for people to look to a pastor when they need guidance, comfort, healing, or a deeper sense of purpose.
Mary Baker Eddy, who discovered and founded Christian Science, wanted her Church’s Pastor to be as pure, constant, and powerful as God’s Word itself. To this end, in 1895 she ordained as Pastor both the Bible and her book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, which opens up the Bible in its application to all human needs. Together, these two books are a mentor, spiritual resource, and timeless guide open to all—a Pastor for the world. |
